1.復活節來源：
聖經上記載，基督那穌死後三日復活，為了紀念基督重生，所以有復活節。
2.復活蛋的意義：
復活節有許多蛋，因為一般西歐人士相信蛋是有兩次生命的，第一次是「新生」，第二次則是「重生」，重生也就是象征了復活的意思。
以蛋來象征生命的復活，不是在那穌基督復活之後才開始，而是在基督降生之前就已經流行。復活蛋的圖案，有十字形的表示那穌被釘十字架，八角形是象征古代太陽神也象征那穌基督，三角形用來比喻基督三位一體。
「白兔」是表示和平與愛，也代表歡樂的意思。

復活節之兔子和蛋 (彩繪蛋)是異教徒的創造象徵。復活節的名稱是從由春天的女神而來，也是異教徒的起源。在春份來臨時一起慶祝春天與地球恢復新的生命。
這是屬於太陽系的節慶，慶祝晝夜平分 (一年兩次，春份與秋 份)。 |

復活節是在基督徒的內心 在受難節，耶穌基督再這天被處決在十字架上。在處決後，祂的身體從十字架上卸下被埋在墓穴裡。墓穴入口有一塊很大的石頭封閉，防止任何人來偷走他的屍體。正一週後的星期天，有些婦人去探了一下墓穴卻發現那塊石頭已被搬移，卻發現墓穴盡然是空的。從那天起有些人都還有看到他，他的學徒也明確的知道上帝把耶穌基督復活了。 |

Easter
Easter commemorates the
resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the most important Christian festival, and
the one celebrated with the greatest joy. The date of Easter changes each year,
and several other Christian festivals fix their dates by reference to Easter.
Churches are filled with flowers, and there are special hymns and songs. But not
all Easter customs are Christian, some, such as the Easter Bunny and Easter Eggs
are pagan fertility symbols. The name Easter comes from the name of a spring
goddess, Easter is also pre-Christian and Pagan in origin. Spring Equinox
celebrates the renewed life of the Earth that comes with the spring. It is a
solar festival, celebrated when the length of the day and the night are equal
(this happens twice a year, at Spring and Autumn
Equinox).
The Easter story is at the heart of
Christianity
On Good Friday, Jesus Christ was executed by
crucifixion. His body was taken down from the cross, and buried in a
cave.The
tomb was guarded and an enormous stone was put over the entrance, so that no-one
could steal the body. On the following Sunday, some women visited the grave and
found that the stone had been moved, and that the tomb was empty. Jesus himself
was seen that day, and for days afterwards by many people. His followers
realised that God had raised Jesus from the dead.
